Happy Mother’s Day to my mama! Look how beautiful she is!

She is the woman who showed up day after day when times were good and tough! From when I was little until the year I opened the Collective! She showed up to run all the behind the scenes family stuff no one sees, so I could start The Collective.

When I was growing up and in high school, I saw all the things she did to keep everything going. All you moms know what it takes to raise a family of athletes with multiple kids! It’s tough. We do it because we love our families and know it’s best for our kids!

She showed me what grit looks like. What hard work, motivation, and determination look like. She loves Jesus, and lived every day, what the importance of believing in God, and what raising a family looks like.

My mom showed up to every game, she put herself through college (as an adult), re-enforcing the importance of a college degree. She would sleep for a few hours, and wake up in the middle of the night to study for hours while she was going to college, then would flip omelettes for my entire basketball team, coaches, and school staff I invited over last minute for team breakfast!
She laid a foundation for me that shaped me into the woman I am today.
I wouldn’t be the same woman that I am today without her!

Thank you Mom for being the perfect mom for me!
