Solo travel does not always have to be about going farther. Sometimes it is about finally finding room to breathe.
In BLK’s 2026 Black Summer Travel Report, 52% of surveyed Black travelers said their main reason for traveling that summer was to relax or gain peace of mind. Another 35.6% said they were most likely to travel solo, while 30.9% said a weekend getaway felt most realistic.
The trip does not have to be long or expensive to matter.

You do not need a group, a partner or a special occasion for the experience to count. Going alone can be an intentional decision.
Traveling as One helps you prepare for a more confident and complete solo experience.
