Did you know that the recent research shows us that incorporating graphemes into PA training is most effective? In this picture, my small group:
1️⃣ identified picture orally (Mat)
2️⃣ worked to orally segment each sound (/m/ /a/ /t/) with counters
3️⃣ asked ourselves, “how do you spell each sound?” And filled in the grapheme.
4️⃣ READ the word that we just built!
