People always ask what I do after the Quarter Way Inn closes for the season. This year, the first order of business is getting the bee yard here ready for a bunch of our bees to come up from North Carolina. Couldn’t have picked a worse time to do it 🥵 but sometimes that’s how the weeds get whacked! I’ll wait until dusk to work on the fence and level the hive stands as this heat is no joke. And of course I also have to pick my black raspberries for everybody’s favorite jam!
