Hippocampi are a creature depicted as a horse with the lower body of a fish. These beasts are often seen driving Poseidon's chariot. Horses, in general, were the creation of Poseidon. He created them from the seafoam that collected upon the crest of a wave. Being the sea god, Poseidon needed something powerful to draw his chariot, and this the hippocampus came to be. Hippo-, Meaning horse, and -campus, meaning sea monster.
Hippocampos is a variegated colorway of deep blues, turquoise, and purple. Preorder is open and ready to ship in August!
