Buzz city is starting a new wargaming event on the first Saturday of every month called "Wargaming Club". It is an opportunity to learn cool new war games, get out of our comfort zones, or just show up and get some games of Warhammer 40k!

The first meetup will be on Oct 3rd and will consist of community members Jamie and Seth teaching folks how to play Age of Sigmar: Spearhead. The only thing you need to learn to play is an assembled spearhead so go ahead and get started and we will see you there.

If you are not interested in learning the new game there will be tables set up for any other wargames just like on our Monday event so feel free to swing by for a fun weekend game.

Get ready for a packed September! 🎉 We have so many fun events planned from Magic the Gathering: Heart of the Mountain, a refreshed board game night where we host games to learn/play together, Warhammer 40k escalates to 2000 points this month, Riftbound Nexus Nights and more! Magic Presents: Heart of the Mountain is a casual Commander event that pits players against one another as they battle for control of the Heart of the Mountain, the legendary Arkenstone. The first player to deal combat damage to another becomes the first owner of the Arkenstone. Players may then claim the Arkenstone emblem for themselves by dealing combat damage to the owner, gaining bonuses while in possession of it—and also becoming the primary target at the table!

Each turn that a player controls the Arkenstone, during their upkeep phase they increase their ownership count by one (they do not lose this count if someone takes the Arkenstone from them). If a player's ownership count reaches three, they win the game.
