Handmade has a rhythm.
Loop. Stitch. Repeat.
Coffee break. Dog interruption. Repeat. ☕🧶🐾
That's how little things become something worth keeping.

The mornings are getting cooler. The yarn is getting cozier. 🍂🧶
Fall has a way of making us reach for warm things, and making something by hand makes the season feel even sweeter.

The holidays are coming. 🎁🐾
And the best handmade gifts aren't panic purchases made three days before Christmas.
They take thought.
They take time.
They tell a story.

National Black Dog Day + National Fire Pup Day

Today we celebrate the beautiful, loyal, goofy, wonderful black dogs who sometimes wait a little longer for their forever homes—and the brave pups who help protect ours.
Every dog deserves to be seen, loved, and celebrated.

September was a month of stitches, wagging tails, rescue stories, local love, and reminders of why handmade still matters. 🧶🐾💛
Thank you for following along, cheering on this little handmade business, sharing posts, placing orders, and choosing something made by hand.
October is waiting, and I have a feeling it's going to be cozy. 🍂

Responsible dog parenting happens in the little things—and the really important things. 🐾
Today is World Rabies Day. Keep vaccinations current, know your local requirements, and talk with your veterinarian about protecting the pets who depend on you.

You can see a dog sweater in a product photo.
But you can't always see the hands behind it.
The hands choosing the yarn.
The eyes studying color.
The maker thinking about fit.
The dog mom who understands that dogs come in all shapes, personalities, and levels of cooperation. 😉
A custom sweater from Poetry in Loops is more than something you add to your cart.
It begins with a conversation.
And then, stitch by stitch, it becomes something made especially for your dog.

The calendar says fall is almost here. 🍂
The yarn says we're ready.
The dogs say they're ready for snacks.
I think we're all prepared.
