Fluorite with Calcite and Galena from the W.L Davis-Deardorff Mine, Ozark-Mahoning Group, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This stunning piece came from an old collection owned by Ed Francis. This appears to be a Stalactite formation, with fully formed cubes all the way around. There's some well-defined Calcite on the back and a coating of Calcite druze. There are some octahedral Galana crystals here and there and even a few small gems of Sphalerite. It has great color and nice zoning. The prominent cube is 3x3 cm. Overall size is 12x10.5x7 cm. Octahedral Fluorite perfection from the De'an Mine, Wushan, Jiujang, Jiangxi, China. This high-grade piece came from the Laurie Adams Collection, and is flawless. Sharp octahedrons have a wonderful color gradient with purple outer zoning. It looks spectacular backlit or on a light box! Magnification reveals some secondary overgrowth in the form of tiny, clear cubes, see pic. This is a key feature of some of the most prized specimens from this mine. The rear is completely etched with some partially formed octahedrons, indicating that this is a floater or at least rehealed. Fluorite with UV Bitumin inclusions from the Lead Hill Mine, Cave-In-Rock, Hardin County, IL. Sharp corners and impeccable lines are highlighted with amazing phantom zoning. 💥💥💥Discount post 1/2 off💥💥💥 This wonderful specimen of Fluorite and Galena comes from the famed mines of the Cave-In-Rock Mining Sub-district of Southern Illinois. A location that resonates with all levels of mineral collectors. The exact mine is unknown, but Im getting a Spar Mountain/Hasties vibe. A massive cube of very pale lilac Fluorite is perched on a full crystallized hunk of shimmering Galena. The Fluorite has a patch of purple and some fine purple outer zoning. Minor Chalcopyrite inclusions are present. The corners are all nice and sharp, and outside of some internal fractures, the piece is in very good condition. And those rainbows🌈🌈🌈! This beauty has highly colored internal rainbows all over it! While this phenomenon is not necessarily uncommon, it is only visible in highly transparent pieces. The cube alone measures 7x4x6.5 cm, and overall size is 9x6x5.7. Heavy, too. 160 shipped US ONLY. (originally 300).

Fluorite with golden Chalcopyrite magic from The Denton Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This one had fantastic, deep zoning that just explodes with some back lighting. The Chalcopyrite is very well formed and adds some additional bling. The transition of colors from yellow to shades of purple is mesmerizing. The back side is fully crystalized with a complex city of smaller cubes. This one has been on display, but I wouldn't mind rehoming it. 11.5x7x5.4 cm. 325 shipped US.

Vibrant yellow Fluorite with Calcite from the Denton Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This juicy piece has a really great, glossy luster and good clarity. The edges show a thin layer of blue/purple zoning. The growth hillocks and patterns are especially nice, and some surface Bitumin adds visual contrast while giving definition to the nooks and crannies. The Calcite is well-formed and aesthetic. Overall, a very nice piece that exemplifies the unique characteristics of this mine. The Bitumin can be removed if you want a cleaner, brigher aesthetic, but Im selling as is. 8.5x5.4.2 cm. $275 shipped US.

Here's a sweet little rehealed floater Fluorite from The Denton Mine, Harris Creek Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This one has nice satin luster and vibrant purple color. It has some well-defined zoning that can be viewed from any angle. The rear is rehealed with micro-stepped growth. 4.5x2.1x4 cm. 75 shipped US.

Exceptional Fluorite with minor Calcite from the Annabel Lee Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. This is one of my favorite pieces, and it's easy to see why. It's structurally flawless, with razor-sharp lines and corners. The surface is 10/10 gloss and luster. The clarity is breathtaking, allowing for a magnificent view of the heady zoning. The core is pale yellow that zones into purple and blue. It looks more blue in person. A fine dusting of Calcite adds some visual contrast. Internal inclusions of Bitumin light up under UV. Pure candy from one of the top mines amongst Fluorite collectors. Mmmm. Ex. Jordan Root. Ex. Emma Bell. 5x3.4x2.4 cm. Available.

Here's a cool Fluorite, Quartz, and Galena floater combo from the Denton Mine, Harris-Creek Mining Sub-district, Cave-In-Rock, IL. It's got the classic Denton aesthetic, with lots of cubes and amazing stepped growth. It's fully healed, etched all the way around with complex secondary growth. There's a layer of Quartz druze on the bottom with some pebbles of Sphalerite. There's a nice, lustrous Galena crystal tucked into the one side and great phantom zoning. There are two cleaved corners, but it still displays beautifully, and is priced to move at $145 shipped US. 12x8x5 cm.
