Update: I just took the batch soap that I made for my friend out of the molds, and I wanted to add some pictures of what it looks like. I weighed each of the 18 bars, and all of them are above 6 ounces right now, with the largest one being about 6.8 ounces. Keep in mind that this batch of soap has to cure for 4 weeks and the weights will go down slightly over those weeks as the bars harden and lose a tiny bit of moisture.

I am not sure if I mentioned this earlier here, but my soapmaking days will be ending before 2026 is over. I am not breeding my goats anymore, which means no new milk supply in 2026. I currently have enough milk frozen to make 19 more batches of soap, and I already know what 9 of those batches will be.

I make complete batches of soap for one local friend, and I could do that for someone else if you are interested.

Here are the details: you would get 18 large bars(some may be considered extra large) which means that each bar is a minimum of 5 ounces and many may be closer to 6 ounces. You would also get 6 mini soap molds. The bars are simple rectangular bars, and I will show a picture of what I mean by this. All of the soaps would be the same scent. The cost of a complete batch is $135 plus shipping if I have to ship it.

I am all set up and ready for business. Please come out and check out all of the vendors and the store Twentyfour West. We are in Stanly county, not very far from Union, Cabarrus, or Mecklenburg counties. The weather out here is beautiful!

I was supposed to be at an event today, but I wasn't comfortable with it, so I am at the Anson County Farmer's Market one last time. I sure would like to see at least one of my friends come for a visit. My friend, Kim, has some beautiful jewelry across from me. I do not like to brag, but I sure do think my soap is great for your skin. I haven't used bar soap from a store in about 15 years. This is my last Saturday morning at the Anson County Farmer's Market. I have events at other locations for the rest of September and most of October. I work Saturdays in November and December for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child, so I can't do events then. I really need to pick it up for the next 7 weeks...sales have been very slow lately.

I am going to try and start posting much more often on this page. With that in mind, I plan on being at 2 different events this coming Saturday, September 7th.

I will be at the Anson County Farmer's Market in Wadesboro from 8am until 12:30pm.

I will also be at Noda Brewing - North End 2921 N Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28206 in Charlotte for an event with Maker's Market CLT and The Bridge Between Animal Rescue.
This event is from 3pm until 6pm.

I will add the picture for the Farmer's Market when it becomes available.
