1936 was the first full year for Harley to produce an 80” engine and was used in their VL side valve known as the VLH. This was the last year for the VL line which used a “total loss” or as Doug Wothke likes to say “constant fresh”. The following year Harley introduced the U model line of flatheads which had a pressurized, recirculating oil system and shared a complete chassis with the newly debuted 61” OHV EL “knucklehead”

The VL is still considered to be a fantastic handling, very capable machine with its relatively light weight, powerful engine and the ultra strong forged I beam springer front end.

I know it may feel like you would be enjoying yourself in the face of other people’s tragedy, but it’s a double whammy to not only lose everything but to also your revenue stream.

If you are unable to volunteer physically, volunteer financially. Come and eat, shop and stay. It’s fundamental for the community to rebuild and to help understand how fragile the most stable parts of your life actually are. Even one of the most geologically and environmentally sound areas in the world can suffer.

Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know that I’ll be at the Wauseon swap Thursday and Friday next week to help with any onsite title needs. All you will need handy is a picture of the vin on your phone. Everything is done electronically and I’ll have an IPad with me to do it.
No more notaries or paper hard copies!

We will be at space 64 and 65 but more than happy to meet vendors at there space so you don’t have to leave. Just give a ring 614-886-9544.

Parker, the official tally man, has finally got off his butt and counted the votes! We have two winners. The bike people liked ( Jared Rinker )and the person people pitied (Connor Levenson haha. Both of you have won a title service on the house.

In the future, let’s try to NOT solicit your grandmother’s knitting group or the male strip club you frequent to get more votes. It takes the fun out of it. lol
