For Everyone's Concern we like to post this every so often to make sure everyone has a good understanding of who purchases our food products understand that not all our grocery products are past the (Best By Date) a better understanding what best by dates really mean plz read below 👇 We do not sell any temperature controlled foods We are Not a discount food store we are a Discount food source a place open once a week to the public a source to purchase discounted food from we carry so much more than just grocery products so with that said we're having a Sale this coming Saturday from 10:00 till 2:00

According to the USDA “Current date labeling practices on food packaging is inconsistent and can cause confusion between 'sell-by', 'best-by', 'use-by', and 'best before' dates.” This eventually leads many consumers to throw out food that is still safe and edible. Confusion over the meaning of date labels is estimated to account for 25% of all consumer waste.

Here’s a quick tip from the USDA “Contrary to popular belief, ‘best by’ and ‘sell by’ dates are actually just (manufacturer suggestions) for when the food is at its peak quality—not indicating the food is bad. Most food can safely be eaten after those dates as the product should still be safe and wholesome if handled properly most all best by dates have a 1 year shelf life after that date a Best By Date is not an Expiration Date.
