So true! We love watching this designer:
If I had a dollar for every time someone told me, “It must be so fun to play with pretty flowers all day,” I’d never have to work another day in my life. 🤣
I kid… I’d definitely keep working.
Honestly though, I used to think the same thing before this became my career, so I can’t blame anyone. It’s just funny because designing is probably only 10% of what we actually do. 😆
The rest? Emails, timelines, proposals, ordering flowers, processing, cleaning buckets, bookkeeping, loading flowers, unloading flowers, deliveries, setting up, marketing, content creation, client meetings, problem-solving, mechanics and about a hundred other things that happen behind the scenes. 🤫
The flowers are definitely the pretty part…but running a floral business is so much more than just arranging blooms! 😉😬
