Protect Your Peace 💗

Happy Wednesday! 🌧️

This morning, as I was thinking about today’s devotional, the rain started falling. There’s something incredibly peaceful about listening to rain from inside a cozy space—and it reminded me:

The storm doesn’t have to stop for you to have peace.

Jesus said:
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.”
— John 14:27 (NIV)

We can’t control every situation around us. We certainly can’t control other people’s words, choices, attitudes or actions.

But we can decide what we allow to take up space in our hearts.

Sometimes finding peace means realizing that someone else’s chaos doesn’t have to become your chaos.

Let go of what isn’t yours to carry.

Protect your peace.

Trust God with the rest. 🙏🏼💗

Dear God, when the world around me feels loud, help me quiet my heart and find peace in You. Remind me that I don’t have to carry every problem, react to every situation, or allow someone else’s chaos to become my own. Help me protect the peace You have given me and trust You with what I cannot control. Amen. 🙏🏼

Happy Tuesday!

Today’s scripture is such a beautiful reminder that sometimes the simplest acts of kindness can have the greatest impact.

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”
— Romans 12:10 (NIV)

God places people in our lives for a reason. Some stay for years, some for a season, and sometimes someone crosses our path for only a moment—but we always have an opportunity to leave that person with a little more kindness than we found them.

A smile.
A helping hand.
An encouraging word.
A little generosity.
Simply taking the time to listen. 💕

You never really know what someone else may be carrying.

Dear God, thank You for the people You place in my life. Help me reflect Your love through kindness, generosity, and care, no matter what I myself may be going through. Amen. 🙏🏼

Today, let’s choose kindness. You never know how much someone may need it. 💗

🐾 THE INSPECTOR HAS FINALLY ARRIVED!

Jack was not allowed in the camper during construction for safety reasons. Mama had tools, lumber, screws and projects EVERYWHERE. 🤦‍♀️😂

Now that construction is finished, he finally got to come inside and inspect the results.

Verdict: JACK APPROVED! ✔️🐾💙

You saw the demo. You saw Plan A become Plan B… and somehow become Plan A again. 🤣

Now it’s almost time to see what all that work became.

BUT FIRST… this girl needs a little break! 😂
I have a house, a yard and a whole lot of neglected real-life stuff patiently waiting after I put so much time into this camper makeover.

So The Grand Reveal + More IS coming — just not quite yet. 👀🌊🚐

Happy Labor Day! ❤️🤍💙

Today we celebrate the hard work, dedication and determination of the people who help keep our communities and our country moving forward.

But I also think today is a good reminder that after all that hard work, it's okay to stop, relax, recharge and enjoy the life you're working so hard to build. 💗

🎉Take time today to appreciate how far you've come.
📝Make some memories.
💞Count your blessings.
🌞And maybe give yourself permission to simply enjoy the day.

Work hard. Be proud. Stay grateful. Enjoy today. 🇺🇸

And as always, I'm grateful for this journey and excited for the MEMORYZ still waiting to be made. 💕

Choose Gratitude 💗

Happy Sunday! 🌊☀️

Today’s scripture was a simple reminder I think we all need from time to time:
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”
—1 Chronicles 16:34 (NIV)

Gratitude doesn’t mean everything in life is perfect. It means choosing to notice the good that is still there—the people we love, the little blessings we sometimes overlook, another sunrise, another opportunity, another day God has given us.

Today, I’m choosing to look for those blessings instead of focusing on what isn’t perfect.

Be grateful. Find the good. Count your blessings. And keep going. 💗

Dear God, open my eyes to the good that surrounds me and not the negativity cast my way. Help me choose gratitude over complaint and recognize Your blessings in every day and in all I do. Amen. 🙏🏼

Happy Saturday! 💗🌊

Today’s reminder feels especially fitting:

“The Lord will go before you, He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you.”
— Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

There’s something comforting about knowing we don’t have to see every mile ahead to trust the journey.
Whatever today holds—the plans, the unexpected moments, the decisions, or simply putting one foot in front of the other—God is already there.

So today I’m choosing faith over worry, gratitude over fear, and trusting that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.
Same God. New day. Brighter tomorrow. 💗

Happy Friday! 💗🌊

This morning's devotional reminded me of something that's so easy to forget when we're focused on where we're going:

Take a moment and look at how far God has already brought you.

“Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.”
— 1 Chronicles 16:12 (NIV)

We spend so much time thinking about what's next—the things we still need to accomplish, the prayers we're still waiting on, and the plans we're trying to make—that sometimes we forget to look behind us.

There are things we once prayed for that are now part of our everyday lives.

There are hard days we weren't sure we'd get through...and yet, here we are. 💗

So today I'm choosing to remember His faithfulness, be thankful for the journey, and trust Him with whatever comes next.

Grateful for the past. Excited for what's ahead. 🌊🙏🏼

What started as a bunk makeover turned into Bunk Makeover + MORE — demo in several areas, problem solving, a little building that took me right back to shop class, a NEW Ryobi tool 💚 and, of course, a couple trips to Lowe’s and Home Depot.
And all because of something I didn’t notice… until I noticed it. 😂

So a friend and fellow YouTuber, Brad My Simple Builds has challenged me on YouTube to post a video a day starting in October.

But since it's was just September 2nd when I found out the details of this challenge I have decided to accept it immediately. And I have caught up today, #3.
