The Black Bobbin Flat Iron is a Chicago-built guitar inspired by the 1960s Chicago-made Truetone Vanguard and named after Wicker Park’s iconic Flat Iron Arts Building, which Black Bobbin is proud to call home. We reimagined the original shape with a newly designed offset waist and added a custom neck plate inspired by the building’s ornate facade, along with Lollar Pickups Low Wind Imperial humbuckers and a 🎼Mastery Bridge M7 bridge. Built in Chicago by Black Bobbin in partnership with LockHorn Instruments , the Flat Iron celebrates generations of Chicago instrument-making through a distinctly Black Bobbin
