BIKE RIDE this Friday evening! Join us for a slow roll around the neighborhood. Gather at 5:45; roll out at 6PM. The ride returns to Small Shop by 8PM.

There is delicious ice cream and food for sale on the block before the ride, but there will also be a couple of opportunities to grab snacks along the ride.

A few complimentary Divvy bikes will available for those without their own bikes! Come right at 5:45 if you want to borrow one of those.

Heyo! This Saturday, 12-4ish, Come to the Skylark (Halsted & Cermak) for big discounts on bike stuff, from 3 of the South Side’s small shops and

I’ll be digging through the basement today and tomorrow to pull out a couple of tables full of overstocked new accessories, fancy used parts, and closeouts to bring. Hope to see you there.

If you’ve never been to Skylark, please come check it out. The Skylark Burger (with tots on the side) is one of the best in Chicago! Bar is cash only, but they have an ATM.

Sorry to share that we said goodbye to our buddy, Gourd, yesterday. Since 2010, he’s been melting hearts across the city and quickly became a neighborhood favorite at Small Shop, where he spent the last 4 of his years. He will be sorely missed. Please send any pics you have! Rest in peace, Gourd!

This coming Saturday, October 11th is the third and final of this year’s Bronzeville Summer Nights celebrations! These events brings in musicians and performers to liven our streets and brighten our local businesses. Please join in as we partner with Equiticity to lead a ride around the neighborhood, ending up at the center of the festivities by 1pm! GATHER AT 11:45
