Sunday was a reminder that sometimes you just need good company, good vibes, and an opportunity to create space to connect. 🧺✨💕

We spent the afternoon on the South Side of Chicago at the beautiful Osaka Garden and Skylanding in Jackson Park, bringing women together to slow down, laugh, explore, meet someone new, and simply enjoy being in community. ✨

We enjoyed at the beginning of the picnic, sister circle conversation cards , picnic setups, genuine conversations and closed with a walk in the garden, gift bag review and vacation raffles.

A very special thank you to our local businesses who gifted us with their beautiful products and services

Chicago women said yes to community 🤎

Yesterday, women of the Chicagoland area gathered in the park for something simple but necessary: community. 🧺🥂✨

We ate. We laughed. We explored the Osaka Japanese garden. We met women we didn’t know before we arrived. And we made space to simply be. 🤎

This is what is about.

Good company. Good vibes. Genuine community.

Healing my nervous system as a Black woman doesn’t look like me attending a yoga retreat or some soft life aesthetic. 🤎

It looks like me creating space for myself at home and saying "I'II answer later" and actually meaning it.

It looks like silence I don't rush to fill, choosing rest over burnout and peace over performing.

This isn't some big spiritual glow-up.
It's me learning how to come down from survival mode on purpose and enjoy the simple things in life.

That's what nervous system healing really looks like for high-functioning black women dealing with anxiety.
