The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Event is a little over two weeks away!!! Where has the time gone???? Our team has been busy raising funds and getting people to join us, but there's always room for more! If you would like to contribute to our time, whether it's monetarily or by joining us to walk in support of cancer survivors and their loved ones, please check out the link below.
As a little backstory, our team is called "There's No Place Like Hope," as a play on "The Wizard of Oz," my sister's favorite movie. We participate in this event to support the ACS after my sister beat cancer twice within two years. Luckily, she had her family to support her and to help her with doctor visits and home care, but many people do not have a strong support system. The American Cancer Society not only supports people going through cancer treatments, but money raised also goes to fund research and development of new cancer treatments which are helping to increase the survival rate of so many different types of cancer. Every dollar they receive goes to help someone in some way.

We're getting close to the June 6th American Cancer Society Relay for Life event in Joliet! Help us to raise as much as we can to help support the ACS!
