Twine and Fire

Twine and Fire brings you fiber art and ceramic home decor and accessories I have been fortunate to have art be both my passion and my occupation.

It is therapeutic for me to create art, and teach others how to tap into that creative side. I feel art is a form of communication, and as such, I am using my creative passion in an effort to raise funds for therapy for my son, Eric, who has selective mutism. I believe there are many forms of communication, but the spoken word is very important for the healthy development of relationships, involve

ment in education and also for health and safety. My son cannot ask for help at school if he needs help, he cannot go to a trusted grown up for assistance if he needs help in public, he cannot order his own food at a restaurant, he cannot tell his grandparents he loves them. This condition is little understood and experienced therapists are few and far between. In our efforts to get him the help he needs, we have registered him for an intensive therapy program that is not covered by insurance. Any funds I can raise through making art will offset those costs! Please help me by purchasing artwork for yourself or as a gift, and also by sharing my page and Eric's story! I have an etsy shop or can do commissioned work for you! Thank you for your support!

Working on leaves and acorns for fall decor items I'm getting ready for some upcoming craft shows.
Next Sunday I'll be at the JCC in Amberly Village for their fall show

Playing around with the idea of a raspberry themed wreath! I love raspberries in the summer, so i thought I'd try to macrame some🩷❤️💜
I only quickly put together and used a basic collage app to reverse and double the image to get an idea of how it could look, and I'm thinking it's pretty cute! Stay tuned for a more complete version soon!!
