🌿 Operations Update from The Ivory Bee 🌿
Big things are blooming at The Ivory Bee, and we’re excited to share all the growth happening across the farm. Our lavender fields are expanding, our English Lavender essential oil rows produced the most beautifully scented oils this year, and we’ve added even more bee hives to support our growing ecosystem and future product line. Our beautiful Amish built shop is now fully constructed, and we’ve begun partnering with wonderful local businesses.
Farm Update:
We will not be open to the public this season. Instead, we’re dedicating our entire harvest to crafting our exclusive, small batch, farm made product line — the pure, authentic lavender goods The Ivory Bee will become to be known for. We’re intentionally taking our time to create products and experiences that feel truly special when you visit.
Our vision has always centered on offering an intimate, family friendly experience — something calm, meaningful, and personal. Not big or crowded, but thoughtfully curated so every guest feels like they have space to breathe, explore, and enjoy the farm at their own pace.
To support that vision, we won’t be hosting U Pick this year. Every stem will go toward essential oil production and product development as we prepare for a tailored grand opening experience next year for our local community.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the USDA for visiting the farm and supporting our growth. We feel incredibly encouraged and grateful for everyone who has stopped by, asked questions, and continues to support us as a small local farm. Our hope is to create an impactful, beautiful experience for families — one that feels welcoming, peaceful, and never overwhelming. More details to come as we continue building something truly special.
💜 This late fall, we hope to be offering limited product preview sales at The Ivory Bee Farm Stand (next to our shop), giving you the very first look at what’s coming from our fields to your hands. Keep an eye out for future announcements when the stand is stocked.
Updates will be a bit quieter over the next few months as all hands are on deck — harvesting, preparing, and producing The Ivory Bee product line, as well as putting the finishing touches on next year’s experience.
The future is bright, and we’re grateful to have you growing with us.
