I donāt even make reaction videos like this, but I couldnāt keep quiet.
Creators who cover current events, especially politics, put themselves out there for ridicule all the time. The expectation is that weāre accurate, free of error & donāt have the right to be human. The expectation is wrong. Weāre all human & make mistakes. We misspeak, we have incomplete information or whatever the case may be.
In times like this, with this administration, it serves NO ONE, no matter how large your platform, to be rude & condescending especially when the objective is the same. If you want everyone to be educated & involved to make change, how you speak to people matters. It also tells a lot about who you are.
As far as Iām concerned, Taylor Lorenz owes Nimay Ndolo an apology. It should be as loud & lengthy as that rude condescending comment too.
