When I started building this, the plan was to create an Event Operating System for makers and deliver it as a template they could own and use themselves.
Wellā¦ that plan has officially been retired. š
Get Your Show Togetherā¢ is now becoming a full, custom-built web application over the initial template we original touted.
Working through the product design, then testing what the system really needed to do, it became clear that trying to force the experience into a template was limiting the very thing I wanted to create: something genuinely simple and intuitive for makers to use with zero tech knowledge required.
So we stopped forcing it.
The underlying system and philosophy haven't changed.
Get Your Show Togetherā¢ is still being built to help makers manage the enormous amount of work surrounding events ā tracking applications, preparing for shows, managing expenses and sales, recording results, and keeping all those moving pieces from living in seventeen different places.
What HAS changed is how you'll experience it.
Instead of adapting your workflow to someone else's software, we're building the interface specifically around the way makers actually work.
It's still being built by a maker, for makers.
