Late ice doesn’t mean the bite slows down—it when the giants start cruising. ❄️🎣

When we’re chasing big fish on Lake of the Woods, we go big with our bait. Oversized suckers and large frozen smelt or herring can be the difference between a quiet line… and watching that light tower fire up across the ice. The buzzer is the sound we all are listening for and all get fired up to hear!

That’s where the adjustable bait tension on the Ice Hawk tip-ups really shines. You can dial it in so big, aggressive bait can swim naturally without constantly setting off the light. Tight enough to prevent false trips, but sensitive enough that when a predator grabs the bait… the tower lights up.

Because late season is when the big ones move.
