So many people have reached out saying they thought of me when the news of Dolly’s passing spread. And if you’ve ever stepped foot inside Wild Roots, you probably know why. Dolly is everywhere you look around here. 💕

In a lot of ways, Wild Roots has always embodied so much of what Dolly stood for: independence, being unapologetically glamorous, shining as bright as you want to shine, and lifting other women up along the way.

She reminded us not to take life too seriously. That there’s room for everyone. That you can be kind AND strong, successful AND humble, and that you really don’t have to give a rip what anyone thinks about you.

Thank you, Dolly, for so many things.. but especially for making generations of girls and women feel good about wanting to look good, whatever “looking good” means to them.

Wear the big hair. Put on the rhinestones. Be a little extra. Be kind. Lift people up. Take up space.

Rest in peace, Queen. ✨💞🪽
