✨ What a wonderful weekend at our Stitch & Stay Retreat! ✨
Everyone had such a wonderful time quilting, laughing, learning, and enjoying great company! 💕🧵
One of the highlights was learning how to make Spark Star with Miss Donna herself! ⭐️ Miss Donna is a Certified Studio 180 Instructor, and she did an amazing job teaching everyone the techniques needed to make this beautiful pattern. We were so proud to see every student finish their Spark Star—and some even made THREE or FOUR! 🤩✨ Miss Donna was so pleased with everyone’s results!

Everyone also worked on their own projects throughout the retreat, including Marina Landi raw-edge appliqué, Laura Heine collages, and unfinished projects!🩷

We even got to celebrate a special birthday at the retreat! 🎂🎉 One of our quilters chose to spend her birthday with us, and Miss Donna baked her a beautiful cake to make her day extra special! 🥰💕

So many beautiful projects, wonderful memories, and lots of fun all in one weekend! We can’t wait for the next retreat! 🧵✨

🚗 Need help getting there? No problem! If you have difficulty driving to the retreat center, we can meet you at our store and take you with us!

Bring a friend, your UFOs, or a new project and come enjoy a weekend of quilting, fun, and good company! 🧵✨
⭐️ SATURDAY, AUGUST 29TH: Miss Donna will be teaching the Spark pattern by Sarah Furrer / Studio 180 Design!
Donna is a Certified Studio 180 Instructor. If you’d like to make the Spark Star project during class, the required Studio 180 tools are:
🧰 Magic Wand
🧰 Tucker Trimmer I
🧰 V Block
Students will also need a ruler ( any brand) that is 6.5”x18.5”, 6.5”x24” or 6.5”x12”
Not making the project? No problem! You can still join the class to learn the technique and take notes. A supply list will be emailed to those registered for the class, and supplies will be available for purchase at the retreat and at Donna’s Quilting Respite.
