💕🚗 DRIVING DOLLIE’S IS LOOKING FOR ANOTHER DOLLIE! 🚗💕
Driving Dollie’s is looking for one dependable, motivated person in the Colorado Springs area who would like to help me continue building and growing this small local business! 💕
Before anything else, I want to be VERY transparent about what this opportunity looks like right now:
THERE IS DOWNTIME. Sometimes a LOT of it.
Driving Dollie’s is still growing. We are NOT at the point where I can promise you back to back runs, a certain number of jobs every day, guaranteed hours, or guaranteed income.
Some days we may have several things come through. Other days we may have one. And there WILL be days where absolutely nothing comes through during your availability.
I need someone who understands that BEFORE committing.
I am one person trying to run the business, answer customers, complete jobs, schedule things, advertise, post, hand out flyers, network, and continue getting the Driving Dollie’s name in front of people. I simply cannot grow the business completely on my own while also doing all of the actual work.
That means I’m not necessarily looking for someone who wants to just sit at home and wait for me to text them with a job. I’m looking for somebody who wants to help BUILD this with me. 💪🏽💕
During downtime, that may mean sharing our posts, posting in appropriate local groups, commenting when someone is looking for a service we offer, handing out flyers, helping get our name into local businesses, and simply helping create the visibility that eventually turns that downtime into MORE WORK FOR BOTH OF US.
The more people who know we exist, the more calls and messages we get. The more calls and messages we get, the more work I can send your way.
I can do a lot by myself, but there’s a limit to how quickly I can grow while I’m also the one out completing the jobs. That’s exactly why I’m looking for help.
What I need from my next Dollie:
✨ Reliable transportation
✨ Valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance
✨ A clean, well maintained vehicle that stays ready for whatever comes in
✨ Dependable communication
✨ Friendly and professional with customers
✨ Comfortable handling different types of local pickups, deliveries, errands, pet transportation, and other requests
✨ Willingness to help promote Driving Dollie’s during downtime
✨ Initiative. If things are quiet, help us get seen!
✨ Specific days and hours that you can genuinely commit to being available
And PLEASE understand: I do not need someone available 24/7. I don’t even need someone available every day.
If you can honestly commit to Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 4, tell me that. I’d rather have 12 hours a week that I can genuinely depend on than be told you’re “available whenever” and never know whether I can actually count on you when something comes through.
When you give me an availability block, I’m looking at that as time you’ve committed to Driving Dollie’s. That doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be actively working or getting paid that entire time. Again, there may be significant downtime. It means that if something comes through during that block, I need to know you’re available and ready to handle it.
This opportunity is probably NOT the right fit for someone who needs guaranteed hours, guaranteed weekly income, or constant work immediately. I want to be completely upfront about that rather than make this opportunity sound like something it isn’t.
But if you’re someone with flexibility who wants to make some extra money, doesn’t mind helping a small business get its name out there, and would genuinely enjoy being part of growing something from the ground up, THAT’S who I’m looking for. 💕
