August is an interesting month in the garden. It is a time of transition into the beginning of autumn as many flowers start to wind down and show signs of how hard they worked all summer to provide beauty and joy. Much of my artistic inspiration comes from the flowers and the surprises they offer. As I listen to the rumblings of Mother Nature and her offer to water for me today, I am grateful for the peace (and workouts) the gardens have offered this summer.
