It’s official and I’m officially sharing! I’m in the midst of perhaps the biggest change and challenge of my career. I feel like I’ve said that a few times before…but that’s what growth looks like, right?

She’s served us well. 🌈🚐 Let’s van-Goooooo to the next evolution of Art with Anna.

My real real REAL dream? It’s to be a full-time artist. So I’m putting my butt where my heart wants to be. I’m pressing pause to make space. Disengaging to engage.

A limited number of private art classes will continue to be available in my backyard studio. But right now, I have to unload my car because it’s filled to the brim with rainbow van supplies.

Last night was our first fancy family fundraiser. Cody cooperated by wearing jeans and Austin wanted to wear a tie/cowboy boots.

The boys were excited + engaged. Randy and I connected with parent friends, though attempted to let our kids direct the evening. Do you know where the name LEGO comes from? It is an abbreviation of the two Danish words “leg got,” meaning “play well.” ☻

The Maurice Sendak exhibition, “Wild Things are Happening,” is fantastic and without age constraints. To share in learning about his life’s work as a Jewish male artist with my sons was magic.

We ended our evening over rice crispy treats and chocolate chip cookies, forgot to get a family photo, so I settled for a selfie by the squiggles. You won’t regret a visit your local art museum. Plus, it’s free on Sundays.
