NEW ROKUHAN USRA 0-6-0 3-IN-1 LOCOMOTIVES!
COMING DECEMBER 2026

We are now taking RESERVATIONS for Rokuhan’s all new 3-in-1 locomotive. The locomotives provide customers the ability to choose between 3 different road numbers. This is achieved through three unique pad printed cabs and headmarks included with each locomotive!

- One body, three road numbers — a unique 3-in-1 concept model!
- Two additional cabs with printed road number included
- The headmarks and cabs are interchangeable.
- Two additional boiler plates with printed road numbers are included
- Users can create different road numbers by replacing these parts.
- North American style knuckle couplers are pre-installed.
- Arnold couplers, sold separately, can also be used.
- Upgraded side rods and assembly
- Headlights light up.
- The minimum running radius is R195
- Instruction manual included

Two road names are available:

T040-4 CB&Q (Burlington)
Road numbers: 500, 505 and 509

T040-5 Pennsylvania Railroad
Road numbers: 7032, 7089 and 8166

The USRA 0-6-0 is a steam locomotive manufactured to the standard specifications established by the United States Railroad Administration (USRA). A total of 255 locomotives were manufactured by ALCO and delivered to various railroads across North America. Its body is small for an American-style steam locomotive, with a 0-6-0 wheel arrangement.

The GE C44-9Ws feature AZL’s 7mm motor, dual flywheels, prototype specific details, separately applied grab irons, directional controlled LED lighting, ditch lights, optional front truck with mounted coupler, blackened metal wheels, AutoLatch couplers and they come DCC ready.

EMD GP30 – Alaska

The 2026 run of GP30s feature AZL’s 7mm motor, dual flywheels, prototype specific details, pre-installed pilot, upgraded PCB, directional controlled LED lighting, optional front truck with mounted coupler, blackened metal wheels, AutoLatch couplers and they come DCC ready.

EMD F7A & F7B - Boston & Maine

Trinity RAF 53’ Spine Cars with 53’ Trailers – Swift

Happy Memorial Day! Yesterday we took some time this weekend to explore the Armstrong Trail in Pennsylvania. The goal was to see the Redbank coal tower in person. Since releasing the kit of the tower, I have been eager to see the real one. It is impressive! We started at the trail head closest to the tower. This is right over the bridge that cross the Redbank and the former Redbank station. The remains of the water station are still on the hill. The tower was right past the former station spot. Wow amazing to see in real life! We then hiked the 2 plus miles down the trail to the former Phillipston yard and turntable. The yard is long gone, but the turntable remains. Along the way we passed the Brady Tunnel's south portal. This whole area would make a fun Z scale layout! Hmmm maybe a future track plan article for Ztrack?

What a great way to spend a holiday weekend afternoon!
