Our mission at Griffen Hollow Studio is providing quality professional craftsmanship in the most eco-friendly way possible. Whether it is manufacturing our own products made from reclaimed materials or producing custom orders for clients, we strive for excellence in impressing our customers with the finished product and making the process smooth and easy. Some of our creations include custom wood

blinds, tap handles, serving platters, display structures, large signs, yard signs, coffee tables, keychains, pins, fashion accessories, business cards, and much more. We can create for you, your business, wedding, special event, home, and the list goes on. All of our products are customizable. Additionally, most of our work is developing original items that help businesses stand out, like when we replicated the parts of an Espresso machine completely out of wood. I’ve been silent for a reason. New season of life, new directions, reflections. One of the few things I’ll always show up for is those who showed up for me: Midsole Marketing x 2x2 Hip-Hop Festival x Columbus Small Business Owners, Artists, Visionaries and Charities.

I’ve closed my doors for awhile now. These were fun to make, dust off the dust and donate to one of my favorite fests in the city.

Welcome back 2x2 Hip-Hop Festival and family!

Bob Kaplan, my Pa, brought me every other season to see OSU route Penn State. Some years passed in his declining health but Dave invited me ten years ago to “the game.” Not a big game but in years to come a pivotal game.

Tradition lives on. And I am forever thankful.

I first met Ernest after opening my doors back up right after quarantine. I was behind on what work was left, stressed and feeling like I was losing it all. He came and talked for hours. What I took away from that was a reminder: even when we have seemingly nothing we still have something to give.

Our relationship grew over the years. He challenged me to continue to give back to the community using my knowledge and voice. When I closed my Parsons Ave shop and became a career technical educator I took his lessons with me and even created chess club at our school, Hilltonia. I was honored to see him step in and lead some of our students inside and outside of the school through his foundation

Eric reached out on behalf of the team not too long ago for a custom utility product going in to the LNS locations.

Mikey and I met almost a decade ago during a unique event called Startup Storytellers. A hand selected group of entrepreneurs shared their stories of a critical “leap” in their lives that set forth the foundation for their businesses. I have cherished each of the relationships I made during that process and event.
