Meet the Human Behind the Brand: Get to Know Me! 💖
If you’re gonna be hanging out in my little corner of the internet, you should probably know who you’re dealing with. So, here are a few random, unfiltered facts about yours truly:
💃🏼Dancing is non-negotiable: I can (and will) move my body to literally any type of music. Early 2000s is always a fav🔥 but if there’s a beat, I’m finding it. 🕺✨
🌈Color is everything: My absolute favorite is pink, but honestly? All colors just bring me pure joy. That’s why my displays, my market booths, and every single collection are an absolute explosion of brightness. We don’t do dull around here.
🍬 Snack Situation: Watermelon is top-tier fruit, chewy candy is an elite food group, and while I’m a sucker for anything barbecue, a medium-rare steak steals my heart.
🍹Beverage Status: I prefer sweet over savory, but I don’t drink coffee, pop, or tea, and alcohol is rare—so water is my ride-or-die 99% of the time. Unless I’m feeling fancy, in which case, hand me a S*x on the Beach.
🔥The Vibe: I love to laugh, I love being silly, and I truly believe celebrating the most mundane, ordinary days is what makes life actually special. Perspective is everything. Bad things happen, but joy that circumstances can’t touch? Unbeatable. (And yep, I love Jesus—He taught me faith and forgiveness)
🤪Sarcasm level: Expert. Making people laugh is my favorite cardio.
Growth is a journey: Trauma changes you, lol, but healing changes you even more. I am not what happened to me. I am officially retired from being a people-pleaser, and learning to genuinely love myself in my most authentic form is pretty special.
My Core Four (and then some):
My husband Tyler: My rock, my person, and the guy who has been through it all with me for 12 years. We grew up together, and we’ve built a pretty beautiful life.
My kids: They keep me grounded and remind me to cherish every single chaotic moment. Man, I’m lucky.
My friends: Top-tier adults who just get me. God really blessed me there. 🥹
And finally... I love Sawdust and Cedar. I am endlessly thankful that I get to do something I’m wildly passionate about every single day, and provide for my family doing it.
