I found multiple VSee Box owners reporting the exact same “Failure to Download” error on October 17, 2026. It appears related to the HeatLive 5.9.5 update, although a widespread server outage has not been officially confirmed.
Step 4: Try this workaround first
Several users report this is working:
Press CANCEL on the update.
Go to Settings → Apps → Heat Live.
Select Open.
If prompted to upgrade, skip the upgrade for now.
See whether your channels play normally.
If the update still fails, check System Settings → Apps → Security & Restrictions → Unknown Sources and make sure Heat Live has permission to install updates. Only enable this for the trusted app already on your box.
Do not factory reset your box right now.
