Congratulations to our own Josh Crain! 🏆

This weekend, Josh competed in the 2026 East Coast Audiophiles (ECA) Finals Prep Sound Quality Challenge and brought home 1st Place! The award-winning system was also installed by our very own Anthony Ivey. Both Josh and Anthony are part of the team at our Hickory location.

It’s hard to capture fully on video just how incredible this Tesla Model S Plaid job turned out in Concord.

A customer saw a Tesla frunk amplifier infinity mirror job posted online by our our friends over at Stereo King and had to have it. The problem: he lived in VA. Instead of shipping it, Stereo King told him: go to Freeman’s, that’s who we trust.

Chad and Travis executed it just right and then some. Chad got freedom to do what he felt worked best for the custom work in the back and now this vehicle is truly one of a kind.

Thanks to Kevin at Stereo King for the rec, this was a fun one.🙏

What do you get when you hand a 2022 Ford Bronco Wildtrack Sasquatch Edition to a team that can design and fabricate custom work in-house? This.

Freeman’s Car Stereo CEO David Wall walks you through every detail of this fully custom build, starting in the rear and working forward to a front stage that has to be seen to be believed.

Starting out back, the custom modular sub enclosure was designed to echo the Bronco’s iconic round grille shape and headlight ovals. The layered acrylic panels, laser-cut in-house, use those same oval forms to create a look that feels like it belongs to the truck. Black and beige vinyl ties the whole piece to the interior upholstery, and quick disconnects make the enclosure fully removable.

Up front, the custom door speaker pods were built to occupy the exact space left by the factory storage nets. An incredible detail you might miss, is that the pattern of those nets were incorporated into the final design of the pods. The logo is cut directly from acrylic (not printed vinyl) and finished with the same oval motifs used throughout the build, tying everything together visually from front to back.

Audison AF M12.14 bit 12-channel DSP amplifier handling the entire front stage
Hertz Cento Series 4” speakers in the rear
Hertz Mille Legend ML 1800.3 7” mid-woofers in the custom door pods
Hertz Mille Legend ML 700.3 3” midrange and ML 280.3 28mm tweeters completing the front stage
Magnetic panel construction (made in-house at Freeman’s) throughout for easy serviceability without removing door panels

The result is a vehicle that sounds as purposeful as it looks. Very loud, very fun, and built to turn heads everywhere it goes.

The purple monster is probably one of the loudest builds we’ve ever done. But also super clean. Willi said it doesn’t hurt, but you can feel it in every part of your body.
