The entire earth glimmers and glitters with Mica content! Walking with my granddaughter at night it was easy to see how we were just a couple of fairies making our way through the magical wonderland! I did my best to give you a little snippet of glimmer night magic with the gorgeous stones just laying at your feet as you go!

Unfortunately there were a few spots we did not end up with a photo of Grandma Rosie, but she was there don’t worry! Mount Rushmore was of course a must, and there I had a beautiful connection with a Monk, shared blessings and am bringing back some books for us from him! I was awed by the monument for sure and the history and creation of it!

I did not know that just outside is the Stone Hoop and Ethnobotanical Garden. I walked the Medicine Wheel three times, stopping at each spoke, over again and again. My heart is so full with this journey through stone, stars, plants, and medicine.

“The design is based on ancient stone circles scattered throughout the Americas. The stone spokes laid out in the garden and extending from a center rock cairn will point in the direction of Tribally significant locations in the Black Hills of South Dakota and beyond. Spokes will also reflect the cardinal directions, alignment with solstices and equinoxes, and will incorporate celestial connections and alignments for a Star Knowledge component. The stone garden will house a variety of native plants of cultural significance, as well as interpretive wayside signage on climate change, cultural plant use, and descriptions of locations signified by the stone spokes within.”

I would start to apologize for the lack of content for you all but I have been busy being so incredibly present and I promise it is coming! Grandma Rosie and I have been extremely busy this week and OHHHH my magical wonderful wonders… here was our first stop on the way into South Dakota at Dignity. Where Earth and Sky connect overlooking the river reminding us that all of the land and its beings are sacred. The Sculpture and the message from the Tribal Nations were just breathtaking.

Good morning Moon Friends! Say hello to Rosie aka Grandma Rosie to us .. the infamous Rose Quartz who started it all. Many of you have heard the story of our origin and how my (Amanda’s) grandmother brought a piece of Rose Quartz back from out west before my mother was born. I am so happy to introduce you all to her! As the Universe aligns all things the opportunity has come up for Grandma Rosie and I to take a journey back to South Dakota with our daughter and her family as the wheel turns through the end of the 50th year and into the 51st for me. My mother has graciously allowed me to travel her with me to this space to bring this full circle into fruition and to brilliantly refresh and recharge her energy in the place where she was birthed! I am very excited to explore such a wonderous and beautiful space and I hope to share more from our journey (and hopefully some amazing rock finds, formations, and views!) along the way!

Go see Em at the shop today!!! She will be opening just a bit behind 11 since she is already working this morning.. she is holding down all the forts and doing all the things while I am away! She is an absolute ROCK Star that way. 💫😍 Seriously, my gratitude is endless for her love and the opportunity to be able to go.
