✅ Truth: Drainage holes are one of the best ways to prevent excess water from sitting around the roots

A cute pot is great, but a drainage hole is even better! If your favorite container doesn't have one, consider using it as a decorative cover pot. Or come to me and I'll show you all the cute pots I have!

Succulents like it DRY!

❌ Myth: Succulents should be planted in regular potting soil
✅ Truth: Regular potting soil can hold too much moisture for succulents.

Succulents need soil that drains quickly. A well-draining succulent or cactus mix helps prevent soggy roots and root rot. You can also add a lot of perlite to the soil to help drainage!
