Seahawk themed 360 rod for the unapologetic 12th man. Have 2 more 360 rods to build then shifting gears to a few 5wts, salmon twitching jig rods, and some repairs to my personal rods that I’ve been neglecting.

3 more 360 rod builds on deck then shifting gears to build four 5wt fly rods.

First cork grip is done and pleased with the results. Going on a 10wt being built by Pigeon River Rod Company.

A pair of NFC blanks (FW702-1 & FW704-1) from a mystery box purchase. A good inexpensive way ($20/blank) to get some quality blanks to play around with and experiment on design. I built these 7 footers to chase small stream fishes, jig for Kokes, and the occasional light tackle bass fishing. Will be pefect for Indian Creek on the fam farm in IL. Had to use my favorite spinning reelseat from American Tackle.

More of the same same but also different. A pair of NFC 924-2 LMX X-rays for a guy i know. He said “murder them out” so black AF except the a single orange trim band to match tops n bottoms. Looking forward to comparing these to the 925s I fish. Forecast grips, Alps guides n seat for the win. Next rod is a 10’6” steelhead stick wrapped with carbon air mesh. Could be interesting, could be weird. TBD.

NFC F 590-4F Epitome 5wt fly rod build. This is the sick stick and components I received as part of the NFC Approved Rod Builder class I took last year. Added a Batson reel seat to complement the Fuji Torzite stripper guides and Snake Brand snake guides. Fishing it on a Yakima River float last weekend. It tossed dries and double nymph rigs with indicator with no issues. A versatile stick in my collection. C6O2 is becoming a way of life.

NFC MB 664-1 (SM). Back in Giribaldi for some fall salmon work and reacquainted with one of my first spinning rod builds that went to a friend who is an unapologetic Beaver Believer. If you’re a new rod builder the NFC mystery boxes are a great option to build on quality blanks at an inexpensive price point.
