Sometimes the best thing on the menu isn’t the food, it’s the people. (But the food was great too.)❤️ Today I had the joy of attending “Brunch with Bec” at Reunion Kitchen + Drink and I was reminded how much our hearts need spaces where new faces become friends and conversations happen without an agenda. Rebecca Spiegel has created something really special. Once a month she gathers women from different social circles around one table, not to network, not to sell, but to simply connect. In a world that often feels rushed and disconnected that’s a beautiful gift. As I continue discovering what For the heART of it ❤️ will become, experiences like this remind me of what has always mattered most to me. It’s all about creating space where people feel welcome, stories are shared, friendships grow and hearts leave a little fuller than when they arrived.
Thank you Bec for bringing people together and reminding us that community is built one conversation at a time. 🤍🥂You are a breath of fresh air.

🌿 It’s been an Eat. Pray. Love. Summer!

Healing doesn’t always begin with having the answers. Sometimes it begins by simply walking through the right door. This summer I made a promise to myself that I would say yes to the things that could help put my heart back together. After losing my mom and closing the store I knew I needed to find pieces of myself again.

My first stop was YogaDen | Yoga Studio Corona, CA
What made it even more meaningful was Leeza Villagomez . She and my mom shared a beautiful friendship built on mutual respect. While my mom never practiced yoga, they recognized something familiar in each other. They were two women who poured themselves into their communities, loved deeply, and took care of everyone around them. Both in their own way, mother goddesses. After my mom passed away, Leeza wrote something that I’ll never forget. She said “Nancy was a fierce Mother Goddess who helped raise many of our daughters through NCH Galleries.” It stopped me in my tracks because I realized how many girls had grown up working in our store, finding confidence, learning responsibility and always knowing my mom believed in them. Walking into Yoga Den wasn’t just about taking a yoga class. It felt like continuing a friendship that began long before I arrived. For the first time in a long time I gave myself permission to slow down, to breathe, to be present and to start healing.

So if you’re looking for a sign to take care of yourself…
Maybe this is it. I would love for you to join me for a class. Thank you, Leeza for creating such a beautiful space and for being part of my first chapter in what I’m calling my Eat~Pray~ Love ~Summer.
