Spend a day with me. ā˜€ļøšŸŒæ

This morning we took a walk around our neighborhood pond. Keira wanted to stop by the little trading post and leave something behind for someone else to find. Moments like that remind me how kindness doesnā€™t have to be big to matter.

I couldā€™ve stayed out there all day listening to the birds. Thereā€™s something about nature that quiets the noise, and Iā€™m thankful to live in a neighborhood where people are genuinely kind.

We came home, made dinner early, and the kids headed outside to play with the neighborhood kids until the sun went down.

Life isnā€™t always easy. Mine certainly hasnā€™t been. But Iā€™ve learned that gratitude changes the way you see each day. There is always something to be thankful forā€”even in the middle of the struggle.

Choose gratitude. It doesnā€™t erase the hard days, but it helps you see the good ones. ā¤ļø

Iā€™ve been going through a difficult time. Almost got pneumonia again! And life is just getting a bit too much. So I wanted to get my mind off things.

Iā€™ve watching all the reactions to the visitors coming to USA for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. I came across Andy in Americaā€™s page. I used to live in Brandon MO and have family in Arkansas.

In one of his videos, he was showing a growing collection of hats. I decided to make a custom one for him.

POV: Me and the kids putting together prayer books for the men in recovery. ā¤ļøšŸ™ At the Valley View Recovery center. There isnā€™t any church organization, pastor or leader that evangelizes there. It started with me wanting to give one person hope. So I created a prayer manual, typed out pre built prayers, messages of hope and Bible resources.

Theyā€™re not perfect, but they serve a purpose for the kingdom of God. And it pushes back the darkness. I donā€™t see the fruit of my labor but I get updates. Some people sleep with the books. Meet each day and pray the prayers in an unofficial prayer group.

Weā€™re grateful to be able to serve, but weā€™re in need of Bibles to include with these prayer books. If anyone feels led to donate new or gently used Bibles, it would make a huge difference and help encourage the men on their recovery journey.

Every man faces battles.

Some battles are visible. Others are fought in silenceā€”addiction, fear, anger, shame, loneliness, temptation, and doubt.

Over the past few weeks, Iā€™ve been working on a small recovery prayer book designed to help men stay connected to God when life gets hard. Inside are prayers, Scriptures, declarations, and practical tools to help point people back to Jesus Christ one day at a time.

My prayer is that this book becomes more than paper and ink. I pray it becomes a weapon in the hands of someone fighting for freedom.

No matter how far youā€™ve fallen, Godā€™s grace reaches further.

Break the chains. Take your stand.

If youā€™re struggling with addiction, please know there is hope. There are people who care, resources that can help, and a God who has not given up on you. Seeking help isnā€™t weaknessā€”itā€™s courage. Itā€™s a step toward healing for yourself and for the people who love you.

Godā€™s mercy is greater than your mistakes, and your story isnā€™t over. One decision, one prayer, one day at a time can change the direction of your life.
