My Grandfather Captain Tom Hadley is the reason this company exists. His daughters (my Mom and Aunt) got him a video on decorative knots/rope work in the early 90's after his third retirement. This one from the airport at Otis Airforce Base, following the Marine Corps and Air Force before that. He then promptly bought the Cotuit Launch business and started making rope bracelets for all the kids at the dock, decorative rope on his boat the Yeldah and the launch, and making Monkeys Fist keychains. What started with a little video and a hobby to pass the time exploded into a cult following and a lifetime of making special things for his loyal customers, friends and family. When he passed away in 2023 I decided I wanted to carry on the Cotuit Knotworks legacy. I'm excited to bring new offerings and well loved classics to our Cape Cod community and beyond!! ⚓️ ♥️
