My beautiful buck, Finnegan.
He is the sweetest love bug in all the land. ❤
His kids are beautiful and sweet as well.
Finnegan is an F5 miniature Nubian buck from Green Acres breeding stock! He is a high quality boy and comes from strong milk lines.
Finn has given us gorgeous kids with good personality, great behavior, healthy udders and beautiful color. We will not keep badly behaved animals in our breeding program!
Breeding season is here. We breed to create healthy well behaved dairy goats that will be useful on any small homestead. They offer delicious milk that is not goaty in taste, and patient loving goats that will double as loving pets. Miniature Nubians can also be used for meat.
This breed is not small. They are stocky and hardy, giving them a little advantage over the standard Nubians in winter. They’re smart and they’re extremely lovable to their owners. Pm me if you have any questions regarding the breed.

We are making our plans for next year’s kids!
If you want to reserve a kid, you can! -You can choose to have them disbudded or kept natural. A deposit gives you first choice on what we have! Kids are expected in April. They go home at 12 weeks of age and will be registered. ❤ Crete Illinois

There are times when you just have to stop and remember to say
“Thank you, Lord.”
I am doing this today because it has been a hard year.
Not 1, but 2 tornado storms, weeks of no power, tons of rain, and extreme HEAT that won’t seem to let up.
On top of it all, my energy is declining and my unknown blacking out issues have been quite strong this summer…. And now let’s add in perimenopause.
Saying it’s been rough is an understatement.
The garden is an UTTER mess BUT
IT IS STILL PRODUCING.
Not everything out there has done well. Our corn was destroyed by the winds, half of my pepper plants were pulled from the ground, broccoli was ruined, and weeds have bombarded everything else.
But the garden is still producing.
I still have over 150 jars I have put away and more still coming.
I have food down in cold storage, food packed in freezers and food being dehydrated.
My pantry is FULL once again, honey is flowing, animals are healthy and producing, and in the end, that’s what really matters.
So I may go out snd stand in the middle of the wreck that was a beautiful garden and want to cry, but the reality that goes past the visual damage has me praising God instead.
Thank you Lord.
It’s been a tough year, but You saw us through.

We are keeping this beautiful buckling for our breeding plans!
Thistle and Rose Farm’s Oliver Von Gable is a gorgeous and very well mannered, relaxed boy that will bring flashy patterns, great milk genetics, and a gentle personality to his future kids!
I can’t wait to see what he produces! I absolutely love this little guy. You couldn’t ask for a more well mannered kid.
