✨ One year ago, after a tough summer show season, I made a decision—to build a stronger online presence for Glass on Hudson. I launched www.GlassonHudson.com and revamped my Etsy shop.

What started as a tool for juried art and craft show applications quickly became a meaningful way to stay connected with customers beyond in-person markets.🎪

Now, many of them return to shop through my site—which has become an important part of sustaining my work.

This summer, I took on a full refresh: new photos, updated descriptions, and reorganized categories. It was tedious and felt never-ending at times, but now everything feels cohesive.

Feeling ready and excited for what’s next. 💛

Outdoor markets come with their challenges—rain, gusty winds, and the occasional surprise storm. But I’m always in awe of the resilience and spirit of fellow vendors: strong, adaptable, and creative. It reminds me of a modern-day frontier spirit I admire.

This spring and summer have also brought meaningful moments—🌸 reconnecting with returning customers. Those conversations and familiar faces have been a true highlight.

After June, I’ll be stepping back until Labor Day weekend to focus on:
✨ Designing a new collection
🎨 Trying out fresh stained glass colors and patterns
🌐 Updating my website and planning for fall/winter

Before the summer break, here’s where I’ll be:

🎨 June 14 – Stamford Downtown Art Walk | Stamford, CT
My first show in Connecticut this year—well-organized and easy to navigate. I’m looking forward to spending time in a new setting.

🎨 June 21 – Katonah Art Walk | Katonah, NY
This small town transforms into a welcoming, art-filled street fair with live jazz, open galleries, and artist pop-ups from 3–7 PM.

☀️ June 22 – GBNYC Summer Solstice Bazaar | Manhattan, NY
A lively, community-focused market that supports NYC public schools—a thoughtful way to close out the season.

As my spring and summer show season nears its end, I’ve been reflecting on the incredible artists I’ve met and the creative moments that have made this journey so special.

One of the standout memories was meeting the artist at a Manhattan show—his booth felt like a peaceful forest escape, and I could’ve stayed there all day. I brought home a nostalgic little figure from his collection that I absolutely love. His work inspired me to start creating my own tiny stained glass village, using dichroic glass. It’s been such a joy watching visitors light up with smiles when they spot these tiny treasures, especially during the Westchester Craft Crawl

I’m grateful for the connections, inspiration, and creative energy this season has brought.

Here’s where you can still find me before I take a summer break:

🌞 May 24–26 – Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Crafts Fair | New Paltz, NY
A Hudson Valley favorite and one of the most beloved craft festivals in the region.

🌈 June 7–8 – Renegade Brooklyn at Zero Space | Brooklyn, NY
One of my all-time favorite shows—this time with an upgraded booth to better showcase my glasswork.

Hope to see you there! 💫
