The fall dates for the Forney market are set! October 10 and November 7. The Christmas on Main Street date has not been announced yet, but it's typically the first Saturday of the month. This year, that will be December 5.

We're getting things ready, and hope to see you all there! In the mean time, feel free to peruse our page and Etsy shop (more listings coming there soon!). Even though we only do a few market dates, our online presence is year around.

I love talking to real customers, but spammers have a specific method that red flag them. Every. Single. Time. 😒

My son has been learning the joys (and trials) of hand-crafting cutting boards. I think he’s doing an awesome job! Each of the boards shown in the photos here are $145 each. Shipping inside the continental US only, at cost. We never up charge what we pay on shipping. Purchases can be completed through our Etsy shop.

Ok, decision is made. As of August 15, 2026, I will be shutting down my website. This date allows time for all online orders placed before that date to be satisfied, but please don't wait for the last moment of the last day to make a purchase there.

No, I'm not shutting down my page. Just my website. Those who have had websites understand the time and financial investments it takes to keep things running and current. And that cost goes up constantly - especially the money part. Credit card fees, PayPal fees, transaction fees add up to as much as 12% of my gross sales. (And yes, I've checked out a bunch of other hosting options. They are all about the same as far as time/money requirements.)

Timewise, I spend HOURS updating listings, figuring out shipping costs for each category, and generally dealing with things just to keep it active. I'm a hobby crafter, not a mega store. This process is very draining and takes all the fun out of what I'm doing with my retirement time.

What am I doing instead? Setting aside my frustration with Etsy and re-opening my shop there.

While it's not my preferred platform, it's considerably less expensive than the website, which allows me to keep YOUR costs down, as well as mine.

In the meantime - say a quick prayer for all of us hobby crafters. Some depend on this extra income. I'm fortunate that I'm not in that group and can still do it just for fun, which is why I started in the first place.

A friendly reminder- please don’t comment, dm or text asking if something in my photos is “still for sale”, or “will you ship to…”. These types of messages are 99.9% scammers and I don’t play games with scammers.

If you’re truly interested in one of our products, we will be happy to chat with you about it. Just comment on the specific post/photo of the item “interested” and I will reach out to you. If the item has already sold, we can discuss making another that is the same or similar. (Cutting boards are always going to be one-of-a-kind even if two have the same wood and pattern because, like people, every tree is different from the rest.)

And no, we don’t ship outside the continental United States. No, we will not accept any money and then “cash out” to return it to you. Sending us money without a proper order will be understood to be a gift from you to us.
