If you didn’t grow up in Argentina, this probably needs an introduction.

An alfajor is two soft cookies with dulce de leche between them, coated in chocolate. It’s not a cookie and it’s not a cake. It sits somewhere in between, and Argentines are extremely serious about it.

Ours adds one thing nobody else does: a core of reduced Malbec.

TasteAtlas ranked it the second best alfajor in the world. It’s made in a small factory outside Buenos Aires, by hand, ten thousand a month.
