Helpful Gym Grandma. This is so cool to me. I am always so captivated by gym posts because that's what I always dreamed that the perfect church or synagogue or temple would be like. Not just lecture, but exercising, challenging, growing, and supporting each other spiritually.
Like a gym.
And this is a great example of why.
Even though she is old and physically weak, this older lady is a Yoda among pupils. I am amazed that she is able to provide such support and value, and--and in a PHYSICAL EXERCISE gym. Imagine how much more she could offer spiritually. Even moreso if she was raised and trained in that kind of environment.
But this is why I am so thankful for yoga!
And it’s why I started Jesus Does Yoga.
Because we actually have that spiritual gym in yoga. It's a bridge between the spiritual and the physical. And so it allows us to work on everything, from a place that already makes sense to us: physical exercise.
I believe that yoga can and will be a bridge for our society into the next stage of conscious spirituality. Yoga will pave the way for next evolution of the church and every religion in the world.
Jesus Does Yoga was created to empower that.
So when you buy a block or gift card or yoga mat from us, it’s no small thing.
