2025 begins our 12th year of working to bring you joy and delight through thoughtful, conscientiously curated discovery. With much gratitude and deep appreciation, we thank each and every one of you in our growing community (if you haven't already, please consider joining our email list).
Ongoing, thoughtful, discerning and conscientious discovery and getting those goods to our shelves and working to serve you are our priorities, and such often leave us little time to feed social media channels with always-new content you will enjoy — and that the social media companies will even let you see. We will still post to social media - hope you see it - answer your messages, etc. We hope you will understand that we want to prioritize using our time for discovery and your delight.
Email is just between you and us, which we think is a much better arrangement that we deeply appreciate and respect.

We at Pretty Things & Cool Stuff wish you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving filled with much love, happiness and laughter!
We are so very grateful for your continued support and interest! The past 16 months have brought a move — a good one — and all of the surprises, challenges and moments of chaos in these crazy, unpredictable COVID times.
Because of such, we haven't always been able to give the shop and book shop all of the TLC for them that is in our hearts. I also know that while we have tried very hard to keep striving to delight our customers, we have not always met our very high standards. We are forever grateful for all of your kindness and patience — and your words that have been so encouraging!
We are bustling to make the holidays merry and working very hard on good things for the New Year!
We think this thought from Ralph Waldo Emerson is very fitting: " Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude." We definitely agree!
