Question:
Background for the question: Experimenting. working on making kydex sheaths. A couple of small knives were forged for testing. Upside down the knife stays in the kydex. They pull out. Rounded the corners so that you can push with your thumb when pulling the knife out. This leaves the sheath flat. I beveled the inside top of the kydex sheath to make it easier to insert the knife. These are my first 2 experiments and were used for testing (Hence all the holes as I was practicing the rivits). Plan to go to black kydex. Green was used as it is easier to see in pictures. Kyde used was .08
QUESTION: Trying to decide what "belt loop" mechanism to attach. Right now looking at YCU tactical Belt Loop clip holder. Open to suggestions before purchasing material.
SIde question: is .08 too thick or should I go to .06 kydex?

I have a Martial Artist Khukuri available. Several were done in the past for some Martial Artists as requested. What Makes it different is that the blade length is 12 inches and it weighs less than 12 ounces. It is a quick blade. FYI: I may have another one in storage bin if someone else is interested. It is difficult to forge to keep it at 12 ounces.

Blade Length 12 inches Spine 0.22 inch Overall Length 17 1/2 inches. Weight 11.8 ounces of 5160 leaf spring steel.

FYI: I am going through my containers of test knives and will be posting them. Yes. I have containers of test knives from the past decade.
Looking to come out with new knives for Christmas. What would you like to see for a Christmas special?
Last year I had a Christmas Khukuri with a cross on the tip of the sheath and in the "finger notch" area. Looking for new ideas or bring something back ?
