David "The Toycrafter" Johns and Judy Johns have been creating handcrafted wooden toys for over 25 years at our home workshop in Dallas, Texas. The lead-free toys are coated with a non-toxic polyurethane finish, providing endless hours of safe and creative fun. We also take phone orders at 214-350-2781.

Happy Earth Day 🌎

For me, working with wood isn’t just about tradition. It’s about making choices that are better for our world. Every toy we create is made from natural materials, designed to last for generations and, one day, return gently back to the earth.

This weekend, I’m excited to be at the Dallas Arboretum, surrounded by the beauty that inspires what I do every day. In honor of , for every Name Train purchased at the show, I will be making a donation to have a tree planted.

It’s a small way to give back and help grow something lasting for the future, just like the toys we put into your hands.
