Oh my gosh, a compliment from a kid is the best kind. They are sincere, no hidden agenda, just saying what they think.

My day was just made by a boy about 7 who said " These books are really good, I like what you're doing." Then he pointed out his favorite features. The wrap, the pen with a Reindeer topper and that he was allowed to pick up the books and look at them. ❤️

Today is the last day of Arkport Summerfest. It's been great! Thank you to all who took the time to stop by. Ill be here until 4pm today.

They are having a car show at the park and the fire department is having a chicken BBQ today.

July 25th Ill be at the West Sparta Old Fashioned Day. You can catch me there with more new books in stock.

I am often asked where I get my books to sell.

I have several sources including individuals who share their well kept collections with me, Yard sales, Market place and a good percentage of my books are purchased new.

All my used books are inspected personally by me. I wipe the covers and spines down with a sanitizing wipe before it is wrapped.

You may find a book with initials or a signature inside if it is a pre-read book. Sometimes I cover them with a sticker that has my contact information and sometimes I just let it be. Initials or a signature does not affect the readability of the book.

I avoid books with deep creases in the spine or torn covers. You may find some light usage wear, but I don't like sending out books that are extremely used.

Children's books are very hard to find in excellent condition so a great majority of those are brand new.
