Ever wonder how a solid bar of pure silver becomes casting grain? 🥈🔥

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look inside SYG at a process most people never get to see.

We start with solid .999 pure silver bars, melt them down until the silver is completely molten, and then pour that molten metal into our granulating system, where it rapidly cools and forms thousands of tiny silver granules.

The finished product is known as casting grain — the form of silver we use to precisely weigh and melt the metal for casting many of the pieces we manufacture.

Silver bars → molten silver → casting grain → the finished SYG product.
