Hello,

Welcome to the page. This page isn’t to distract anyone from supporting local businesses or other enterprises in the Decatur Community. This page was created to capture the information of Black-owned and/or operated services or service providers in Decatur,Illinois. (If this is hard to fathom, please connect this pages purpose to the movement of supporting local businesses over global companies.)

Keeping with that spirit, this page will operate in two ways. The first will be collecting business and/or service information, which will be allowed on a rolling basis but will not be the main focus after November 1,2020. The second will be promoting the businesses and/or service providers that complete the survey and hosting an additional space for them to educate people on their products and/services.

Since this process is lengthy, I ask that you maintain patience and stay connected to the page as it moves through the process. Secondly, I ask that you support the process and inform others of the page. Lastly, I pressure you to take the Google Forms Survey if you are an individual of the Black Diaspora that provides a service and/ or share the Survey to someone who is. (See the link on the page)
