With SO many vendor shows popping up all around Montana, we wanted to take a minute to share a little reminder to help protect our fellow vendors from scams!

We've gotten 3 scam emails this year and they all look about the same. If you get an email that looks similar to the one in our post do your research before replying and don't click any links!

A few things to watch for:
• 🚩 Someone randomly emailing you about a show and not recognizing the person's name or email
• 🚩 Comments or posts that seem copied, vague, or have very little information
• 🚩 An organizer who won’t answer basic questions about the event
• 🚩 Be cautious of someone claiming to be an event organizer when their profile doesn’t match the official event information

💡 Our biggest tip: Find the event’s official page or organizer, verify that the person contacting you is actually associated with the event, and never be afraid to ask questions before paying!

And if something feels off… trust your gut! ❤️
